Estimate How Much Paint You'll Need

This application provides a simple and efficient way to plan a new look for your home. It enables you to save both time and money by accurately calculating the volume of paint required for each room.

To use the app, input the dimensions of the room to be painted, as well as any openings (such as windows and doors) that need to be subtracted from the total area to be painted. Then, with a simple click of a button, the app will provide you with an estimate of the amount of paint and man-hours needed for the job.

The calculation process is straightforward. The app determines the area of each wall by multiplying its height by its width. The estimate is then obtained by dividing the total square footage by 350, as this is the average coverage provided by one gallon of paint (covering an area of approximately 350 square feet). Furthermore, if you wish to apply multiple coats of paint, the paint calculation will automatically update accordingly.
